The project was launched by PRO HELVETIA, and was a big Photo exhibition with an important catalog with CD's on base of a Swiss Television series of TV-interviews and contributions where every photographer had his own scheduled program. After a yearlong regular TV-presentations, Pro Helvetia had the idea to turn it into an exhibition. The first presentation was at Instituto Svizzero in Rome. Ascona/Locarno was the second venue but the first in Switzerland. I was the curator of this first venue in Switzerland. The exhibition was too big just for Ascona. I persuaded the responsables in Locarno to let me use also Casa Rusca, the Museum of Locarno. It was the first ever and never repeated collaboration between these two very close towns and museums. Officially Locarno was also involved, but did nothing besides giving the location and their security and cleaning staff.
