Draft for keyword note: A confrontational, engaged encounter with this well-known , very political and radical Swiss Abstract Concrete artist in the train on the way of Dokumenta Opening 1977, right after my nomination as future director of Lucerne. Dispute on his prejudice that my generation 30/40 years younger and even Szeemann, Ammann were traitors of radical left marxist ideas he thought to be at the base of his abstract concrete art and that of constructivism. This dispute lead to my offer to him to take up the confrontation of our generational ideas and invited him to do a large show of his serial principal in abstract concrete art with strong and very specific use of colours I actually always liked. The catalogue took therefore the form of a Dialogue of questions, he insisted on additional critics, and the questions had to be submitted before in writing "Questions to Lohse ". We didn't become close friends, buthe got more open to the yuôunger avant garde and our ideas and gave the museum some long time loans.
