abstract of note: Connection to minimal and concept art, relation also to serial minimal music and repetition in film. Wanted to add to the past history of Lucerne's show of avantgarde also minimal art and this aspect with a little known but pioneering artist from Germany who lived very short. With help of Paul Maenz and Paul de Vries, who edited a Dumont book on Peter Roehr I was able to produce this exhibit and to accompany it with a special theme show of the related contemporary art in minimal-conceptual field with loans of Swiss and German collectors.
