MK Note, here a first draft only: of the first MK note about the series "Junge Schweizer Künstler": it will be mainly about the idea to start this series of special exhibitions, always in the same mid size gallery at the end of the east wing of the Kunstmuseum, where the artists could use all four rooms to present younger , emerging artists active i whole Switzerland and not just in the Lucerne and Centra Swiss Regions, as it was before me. Series Titel: "Junge Schweizer Künstler" , (Nr.1-13, 1978-1982) THIS FIRST EXHIBITION WAS DEVOTED TO HANES VOGEL, WHO WAS WORKING MAINLY IN THE BASEL AEREA, BUT CAME FROM THE GRIGIONE, THE RÄTOROMAN AERA, WHERE HE LATER RETURNED. He was much related to Conceptual art and video art , using traditional drawing technics for conceptual pieces and was one of pioneers of video installations in the Swiss German part of CH. The first publication was in form of a folded large posterflyer, a format which was ony used for the first venues, later we produced a brochure of of 16 pages. Often they were the first publication about for the selected artists.
