The exhibition was supposed to be shown at the Biennale di Venezia 1993, but was not realized because the artists were not allowed to leave Sarajevo. The catalogue was already printed. The exhibition was shown first at The New York Kunsthalle, February 26 - April 3, 1994 where the Biennale catalogue was available for the first time together with a brochure published by The New York Kunsthalle
